Golden Race – a Maltese provider working in a gambling software industry unlike most of its competitors provides the clients not only with the software itself but also with the complement hardware.
The company was founded by Martin Wachter in 2006. It is headquartered in Naxxar (Malta) and has two Spain-based development offices.
The provider obtained Maltese, the UK Gambling Commission, and Romanian licenses (Class 2).

Right from the start, Golden Race kept the focus on sports betting products so its debut solution was a virtual dog race betting game, which was quite successful and gathered more than 8 000 licensees.
All of the revenue was invested in the new development areas and some fresh games to update the portfolio.
By 2013, Golden Race has not only the debut game, but also moto race, horse races, football, keno, roulette, and poker.
The same year, being a known provider Golden Race filled a new niche and introduced the “Golden Box”, a mini PC device for brick and mortar betting shops. It connects to two HD screens (each of those can be separated into four sectors) and airs up to 8 games simultaneously.

The founder and the CEO of Golden Race for 12 years already is Martin Wachter. In January 2018 his brother Rene Wachter was promoted to the company’s COO and is currently a part of the Golden Race’s senior executives team.

1. Golden Box
Golden Box is a mini PC device that helps to air the games through the screens in the betting shop. Alongside with the device, an operator gets the Golden Race games suite, which includes not only sports betting but casino games as well.
