Wager is a widely used term that refers to a bet of any size or the act of betting and is used in both sportsbooks and casinos.
Quite often, you will hear a player offering another player to make a friendly wager, which means they are trying to make a bet between the two of them. In other cases, they can simply say they have placed a wager on roulette, blackjack, or baccarat.
