AGLC Goes Live With Evolution Live Casino

Evolution has announced that AGLC (Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis) has started to broadcast Evolution live casino services. For the time being, AGLC is live with six live dealer games powered by Evolution, four of them being Roulette, Baccarat, Infinite Blackjack, and Texas Hold’em. AGLC plans to add more live dealer games in the next few months to complete the picture.
All games are available on the Alberta-based website — playalberta.ca, where Albertans over 18 years of age are free to register and play. This is a regulated and licensed gaming site meant for Alberta residents and others located within the province’s borders physically. Interested parties can access all games featured on the site through mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. AGLC is an agency that oversees gaming, cannabis, and liquor industries in Alberta, and it’s managed as the Government of Alberta's Crown commercial enterprise. Due to its responsible gambling practices, all money generated through the playalberta.ca website stays within the province.
More specifically, all generated revenue is used to support programmes and services of immense significance to Albertans. For comparison, the 2019/20 period generated more than $1.4 billion in gaming. The funds are secure in the Government of Alberta's General Revenue Fund. Commercial Director at Evolution Jeff Millar said that the launch of AGLC was an important moment for Evolution and its presence in Canada. Millar added that Evolution is dedicated to providing diverse online gaming entertainment for Albertans with its world-leading and high-quality gaming portfolio. After the immensely successful launches by BCLC (British Columbia Lottery Corporation) and Loto-Quebec, AGLC is the third Government-run Canadian lottery that went live with Evolution live casino games.
