The first-ever mega win recorded on Microgaming’s WowPot happened on April 14, 2021, when a 32Red Casino player placed a £0.80 bet on Book of Atem: WowPot. The player won £15,183,085.96, marking his name in history.
Microgaming has paid out more than £1.1 billion across all jackpots and games thus far, with this lucky winner being one of 93 millionaires created on Microgaming’s jackpot network. This sum is the largest one won on any of the WowPot games, placing behind it the £968,412.16 tremendous win triggered on Sisters of Oz™: WowPot from March 2021. This WowPot is also the third-largest win in Microgaming’s history when it comes to progressive jackpots. As with all Microgaming winnings, this hefty prize was paid out in a single payment.
The Book of Atem: WowPot game was created by All41 Studios exclusively for Microgaming, going live in September 2020. This Egyptian-themed slot is only the second slot to feature the four-tiered WowPot progressive jackpot. Interestingly, since its release, the game has awarded more than £19.8 million across all jackpot tiers, with even one player winning £860,981.47 in March 2021.
Microgaming released the first-ever game from the WowPot series in February 2020 titled Alchemy Gaming’s Wheel of Wishes, with the top prize pool of £1.7 million — an industry record at that moment. In the meantime, the jackpot has delivered a few more titles under its name, including Queen of Alexandria™ WowPot (from Neon Valley Studios) and Sherlock & Moriarty WowPot (from Just For The Win).
Microgaming continues to stun the players with its progressive jackpot selection. The most recent games for the Mega Moolah family include Absolootly Mad™: Mega Moolah created by Triple Edge Studios and Atlantean Treasures™: Mega Moolah by Neon Valley Studios.
