Pragmatic Play Makes a Breakthrough in the Sports Betting Realm With DAZN BET Deal

Pragmatic Play, a renowned online casino content supplier, has signed a sportsbook deal with a Spanish casino brand — DAZN BET. This will be the first operator to offer the developer’s sports betting services.
Under the terms of the agreement, Pragmatic Play has agreed to deliver its complete iGaming solution, including video slots, live casino games, and virtual sports. Considering that Pragmatic Play strives to become the go-to supplier across all verticals, this deal marks a step forward on that journey. Pragmatic Solutions supplies the core technology powering DAZN BET, the Player Account Management (PAM) platform, so it will be easy for the operator to integrate the PP sportsbook services. Additionally, since Pragmatic Play’s sportsbook is included in the PAM platform, all operators with the developer’s license will be able to utilise this vertical.
DAZN BET's senior leadership reports record revenue and number of active users for October, and they believe the new sportsbook will significantly impact these metrics in the near future. Adding the sportsbook to its portfolio, DAZN BET now offers five gambling verticals. The other four include slots, bingo, live casino, and virtual sports. Initially founded as DAZN in 2015 in London, the company has been offering quality online streams of live sports events across 200 countries. In order to add the sports betting element to its core business, the company rebranded itself as DAZN BET in 2022. Pragmatic Play's VP of Sports, Gareth Crook, has stated the company couldn’t wait to work with DAZN BET ever since they announced their expansion into the sports betting sector. Since their labour is now coming to fruition, the studio is honoured to be associated with such an established brand. Crook adds that with Pragmatic Play’s sportsbook support, DAZN BET is bound to become one of the leading operators nationwide. According to Simon Gatenby, CMO at DAZN BET, Pragmatic Play is widely known for its technical and creative competence, and DAZN BET is delighted to be the first operator to offer its sportsbook. Thanks to the collaboration with Pragmatic Solutions, Gatenby is confident the company’s new platform can deliver a memorable sports betting experience to their Spanish customers. Aside from being known for its state-of-the-art online casino products, Pragmatic Play is one of the studios with the highest number of collaborations with foreign operators. The developer has recently added more names to its roster, and some of them include bet365 in Spain, Betmais in Brazil, Doradobet in Peru, and Casino Magic in Argentina.
