Inside Bet definition and meaning

Inside bet is a roulette term that refers to a specific type of bet.

A roulette table is comprised of two parts — the wheel and the betting area. Furthermore, the betting area is divided into two betting areas, which allows players to easily place bets.

Outside bets include betting on the first, second, and third 12, 1 to 18, 19 to 36, odd and even numbers, as well as red and black numbers.

Inside bets, however, include betting on single numbers ranging from 0 to 36, or 00 if you’re playing American roulette.

There are six different types of inside bets: the straight-up bet, split bet, street bet, corner bet, five bet, and line bet. However, regardless of the type of inside bet you are placing, as long as you are betting on a specific number, you are placing an inside bet.
